The future of wedding planning is here.

So, what is the new normal?

Things changed virtually overnight in March 2020. For eight months now, we’ve been sheltering in place and quarantining through a pandemic, which we never expected or anticipated that we’d ever have to live through. Had we known, maybe we would have thrown that big bash in 2019.

Here we are, though. Weddings are shifting toward the smaller side for now, and surely that will pave the way for events in the immediate (and maybe the long term) future.

Right now, more than ever, is the time to indulge in the elements that mean the most to you when planning a wedding. Looking to the positive side of this situation, you might be able to have things for your wedding that you couldn’t before the pandemic.

An intimate elopement with a lush and elegant floral installation could be something you can splurge on now. Maybe you can focus on a luxuriously styled setup. DJ services have pivoted to include a shorter time frame, without dancing, and still have a soundtrack that represents you.

You are able to mindfully choose the guest list (or lack thereof) and have a small gathering of the most important people, with a wedding announcement afterward. There is more time for you now. There is more space to enjoy the moment with your love.

The Mindful Wedding can work with you on a wedding that represents you. We can’t wait to help bring your vision to life. What have you been dreaming about?

Rose and Ben invited our team to Western Massachusetts to spend the weekend at their Camp Lenox wedding. We enjoyed the sanctuary that was incredible vistas of Shaw Pond; wooded pathways to overnight cabins; and deep conversations with new friends. We organized the wedding rehearsal and also managed the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dance party in four separate locations.

Rose and Ben’s self-uniting marriage was touching, and set the tone for a day filled with a palpable deep love. Camp Lenox catered the dinner and baked many, many amazing pies in lieu of cake. After dinner, the wedding moved up the hill to the lodge, where an EverBlock dance floor, balloons, dance lighting, and fun music awaited guests. Check out these amazing photos from Gina Clyne:
